Background: Caroline Dark grew up tagging along to the studios with her father, Danny Dark. He was the very best teacher and showed her how to have fun with our voice. Making radio shows together was their form of rainy day fun. Unexpectedly, one day, Caroline Dark had a microphone thrown in-front of her face at a very early age...and she fell in love with it!

Experience: Caroline Dark spent time in Iran, and her voice career there began with Instructional English Language recordings. She then did voiceover for corporate presentations and company videos, and finally video travelogues for the tourist industry. Caroline Dark has also worked at the national broadcasting station (IRIB) doing actor dubbing of Persian films into English for English language broadcast (Sahar TV).

Education: English Caroline Dark’s native language, but she can read, speak, and write fluent Persian (FARSI) as well. She holds a B.A. in Iranian Studies from UCLA, and has extensive translation experience. She plans to be a student of voiceover for the rest of my life, but private study with Julie Amato, Julie Nolan and advanced re-voicing/ADR/looping with Pat Fraley, Terri Douglas and Ned Lott comprised some of her recent training.
